Description

A battle the Rebels cannot win

The Empire Strikes Back opens with Imperial forces discovering Echo Base on Hoth. Rebel troops dig in on the snowfields while snowspeeders try to slow the advancing AT-AT walkers, all to buy time for transports to escape. The defence ultimately fails, but it achieves its purpose, and the Rebellion survives to fight again. That idea of holding the line is what the set's name captures, and it explains why Hoth remains such a popular setting for builders.

Figures first

Three minifigures make up a large part of the appeal here, with the building elements providing a compact backdrop for them.
