Description

Two witches from Wicked

This set brings together Elphaba and Glinda, the two central characters of Wicked, the stage musical and hit film based on Gregory Maguire's novel, itself a prequel of sorts to The Wizard of Oz. Elphaba is the green-skinned outsider who later becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, while Glinda is the popular blonde witch who eventually turns good. Rather than facing off as rivals, they're built as a matching pair here, standing side by side. Both are shaped as BrickHeadz: oversized square heads, blocky bodies and simplified features rather than realistic proportions, with no minifigures anywhere in the box.

A denser build than most BrickHeadz

At 325 pieces and 100 unique elements for two figures, this set carries noticeably more detail than a typical single-character BrickHeadz set. Most of that extra complexity shows up in Glinda's dress and hairstyle and in Elphaba's hat and cloak, both of which go beyond the accessories bundled with simpler figures in the line. Anyone who has assembled other BrickHeadz will notice the difference in build time straight away, since more of the piece count here goes into costume and hair than into the basic cube-shaped body. The exact split of parts between the two figures is laid out in the parts list on this page.

Pink versus black and grey

Colour does most of the work telling the two witches apart: Bright Pink runs through Glinda's outfit, while Black and Light Bluish Gray cover Elphaba's darker wardrobe and both display stands, with Dark Tan showing up in hats, hair and smaller accessories. That split makes the pair recognisable at a glance even though both share the same cube-shaped BrickHeadz body underneath. For collectors building a shelf of licensed BrickHeadz, this set adds a Wicked entry alongside existing Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings figures. The full colour breakdown by piece sits in the parts list.

Who should build it

Elphaba & Glinda 40794 suits Wicked fans who want a compact, stylised version of the two leads on a shelf without tackling a full diorama build. Since BrickHeadz skip play scenes entirely, it also works as a gift for adults who collect film and musical memorabilia rather than play sets. With 325 pieces split across two figures, the build takes longer than most single-character BrickHeadz but still fits comfortably into one evening. Before starting, it's worth checking the parts list to keep Glinda's and Elphaba's pieces sorted separately.

FAQ

Does this set include any minifigures?
No, both characters are built purely as BrickHeadz, the cube-headed figure format, so there are no minifigures in the box.
How many pieces does the set have, and is it a complex build?
325 pieces across 100 unique elements, which is more detailed than most single-character BrickHeadz, mainly due to the costumes and hair.
What colours define the two figures?
Bright Pink for Glinda, Black and Light Bluish Gray for Elphaba, with Dark Tan used for hats and other details.
