For most fans the ships are the main attraction. The Black Pearl (4184-1) has 805 pieces and Blackbeard’s Queen Anne's Revenge (4195-1) reaches 1,097, both released in 2011. The largest vessel came later: the Silent Mary (71042-1) from 2017, Captain Salazar’s ghost ship from Dead Men Tell No Tales, with 2,294 pieces. It is more than twice the size of any other set in the theme and is built mainly for display.

Scenes from four films

The 2011 range launched alongside On Stranger Tides but reached back to the whole series. Isla De Muerta (4181-1, 161 pieces) recalls the first film, while The Cannibal Escape (4182-1, 280 pieces) and The Mill (4183-1, 368 pieces) come from the second.
