Many of the models follow the calendar. Spring Tree (40096-1) from 2014 has 62 pieces, Sleigh (40287-1) from 2018 has 64, and Lunar New Year Dragon (40395-1) from 2020 has 67. Others mark a particular occasion, such as Dog and Cat Friendship Day (40401-1), the largest of all at 73 pieces, and Youth Day Kids (40402-1) with 63, both from 2020. Taken together, they read like a calendar of the store year.

Animals and vehicles

Beyond the seasonal builds, the range covers everyday subjects that suit a small parts count. Koala (40130-1) from 2015 and School Bus (40216-1) from 2016 each have 65 pieces, and Crane (40325-1) from 2019 has 64. Models of this size are quick to put together and look good lined up on a shelf, which is how many collectors display them. The challenge in each case is to make the subject recognisable with only a few dozen parts.

Building the collection

With 153 entries released a month at a time, completing the series is a long-term project.
