About Batman
Screen versions in brick form
A striking feature of the theme is how many versions of Batman it covers. The 1960s television series appears in Batman Classic TV Series - Batcave (76052-1, 2016, 2,526 pieces) and Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile (76328-1, 2024, 1,822 pieces). The 1990s animated series inspired the largest set of all, Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271-1, 2024), with 4,210 pieces. Tim Burton's 1992 film is represented by the Batman Returns Batmobile (76355-1), listed for 2026 with 2,271 pieces, and the 2017 animated film has its own sub-theme, The LEGO® Batman Movie.
Arkham and the Batcave
Two locations keep returning. Arkham Asylum, the prison for Gotham's villains, first appeared as a large set with Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout (10937-1, 2012, 1,621 pieces) and was reinterpreted in 2025 as Arkham Asylum (76300-1) with 2,953 pieces. The Batcave has an even longer history: The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion (7783-1, 1,091 pieces) dates from 2006, the theme's first year, and Batcave Clayface Invasion (76122-1) followed in 2019 with 1,073 pieces.
Collecting across two decades
Alongside the big display pieces, the theme contains many play sets with vehicles, hideouts and villains, which makes it attractive to children and adult collectors alike.
