Description

Several trees, not one

Unlike LEGO's larger bonsai set, 10373 packs several smaller tree shapes into a single box, each one freestanding and able to be displayed independently, spread across a shelf or desk. Green forms the base colour of the foliage, while Reddish Brown covers trunks and branches, much like a real bonsai. Dark Blue and Dark Tan show up mainly on pots and saucers, giving each little tree its own small frame, so no two trees end up looking quite the same.

Building technique

As with the larger Botanicals sets, the leaves and canopies here are built from many small interlocking elements that together form a dense but airy silhouette. The trunks can be bent and angled slightly before final assembly, giving each tree its own subtly different growth shape.
