Description

Weathering as a design choice

Unlike classic pirate sets, 21322 doesn't show an intact fort but a storm-battered ruin, with collapsed wall sections, rotting beams and exposed foundations. That look comes from deliberate colour blending and irregularly placed pieces rather than smooth, symmetrical walls. For experienced builders, that's a welcome change from sets built on clean, straight lines, since organic shapes and intentional disorder are part of the design here rather than something to avoid. The broken parapets and exposed stone layers end up reading less like a kit and more like a genuine ruin on a remote coastline.

A wrecked ship at the centre

The cove's centrepiece is the broken hull of a pirate ship, split in places with visible gaps in the hull planking.
