Description

The Resistance's best pilot

In the sequel trilogy, Poe Dameron is the Resistance's top pilot, leading attacks against the First Order from the cockpit of his distinctive X-wing. Instead of the white and grey of the original Rebel fleet, his fighter is black with orange markings, a look that sets it apart from every other X-wing in The Force Awakens. Four wings spread in the classic X shape keep the family resemblance clear, even in a small-scale model like this one.

Colour tells the story

The parts list reflects the film look closely. Black leads, followed by orange, dark bluish grey and light bluish grey. Orange is not especially common in Star Wars sets, and here it provides the striking accent that identifies the ship at once. There are 24 unique elements among the 64 pieces, well under half, because a symmetrical fighter with four matching wings naturally reuses many parts.
