Description

The Resistance's best pilot

Poe Dameron is introduced in The Force Awakens as the pilot who can fly anything, and he remains at the heart of every major space battle through The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. His X-wing carries on the tradition of the fighters that destroyed the first Death Star, though the newer design looks sleeker than the Rebel originals. The four wings that spread into an X for combat are still the defining feature, and that shape survives being shrunk to a model of just 72 pieces remarkably well. Even at this size, nobody will mistake it for anything other than an X-wing.

An orange-led colour scheme

The parts list is led by orange, followed by white, light bluish grey and dark azure. That gives this X-wing a very different character from the red-striped fighters of the original trilogy. Orange and dark azure are not especially common colours in Star Wars sets, so they are welcome additions to a parts collection, useful for vehicles, machinery or bright details in city scenes.
