Description

Tank of the Trade Federation

In The Phantom Menace, rows of AATs glide across the grassy plains of Naboo alongside battle droids, pushing back the Gungan army during the film's climactic ground battle. The tank reappears frequently in The Clone Wars, where it remains a staple of the Separatist forces. Its design is instantly familiar: a broad, low hull, a main cannon mounted on a turret, and a heavy prow that looks built for ramming. A good small-scale version needs to capture that wedge-shaped profile, and 75 pieces are enough to get the essential outline in place. Set on a shelf, the result reads clearly as the Separatist tank even from across the room.
