Description

A boombox that opens into a stage

From the outside, the model looks like a classic oversized boombox, complete with speakers, an aerial and a carry handle. Fold the front open, though, and the casing turns into a small stage with room for minifigures and moving elements suited to photos or short video clips. That dual role, as a closed display piece and an open play stage, sets it apart clearly from typical building or vehicle sets, and at 982 pieces it's one of the more substantial builds in the VIDIYO range.

High-contrast colours built for performance

Black and White form the boombox's technical body, while Yellow and Magenta supply bold colour accents on the stage and decoration. That strong contrast deliberately echoes stage lighting and music-video aesthetics, standing well apart from the more muted colours of typical building sets. The bold colours also mean the finished model reads instantly as a music or party piece from across the room, fitting the range's idea of staging your own small performances.

Four figures built for the app
