Description

A chest full of sea treasures

The set centres on an opening treasure chest that reveals small scenes once lifted, in keeping with the story of a mermaid who collects human objects as treasures. The chest and its detailing use 127 unique parts, from small decorative elements to colour accents on the lid. Dark turquoise, white, tan and lavender make up the palette, a combination that nods to both sea and land settings from the film. The lavender in particular sets the chest apart from more naturally coloured LEGO® containers and gives it a slightly fairy-tale feel.
