Pursuit from the air

In this set, the police helicopter chases a crook attempting to escape in a small getaway vehicle, a classic LEGO City Police scene built around pursuit rather than a fixed crime scene. The helicopter can land almost anywhere, which makes it especially suited to cross-country chases where an ordinary patrol car reaches its limits, whether that's open fields, rooftops, or anywhere else without a proper road to follow. That flexibility makes the air chase one of the more dynamic play ideas in the 2015 Police wave.

Rotor, skids and plenty of detail

With 112 different elements out of 253 pieces, the share of specialised parts is noticeably higher than in many road-vehicle sets, thanks to the moving rotor, the landing skids and the detailed cockpit.
