More than one build in one set

Instead of a single building, Prison Island splits into separate zones on a shared base plate: a barred cell block, a watchtower overlooking the grounds, and a small dock for the included boat. That layout means several scenes can run at once, such as a breakout attempt by the water while a check happens inside the cell block, rather than the set only supporting one storyline at a time. The helipad adds a third way in or out, so chases can play out by air, water and land together.

Eight minifigures, two sides

Eight minifigures puts this among the more populated City Police sets of its year, split clearly between officers and prisoners so a chase or a standoff can play out immediately rather than needing extra figures from elsewhere.
