The City Advent Calendar is one of LEGO's regular annual releases: 24 numbered doors hide small vehicles, figures and everyday scenes from the City range, meant to be opened one at a time from 1 to 24 December. With 186 pieces in total, each individual surprise is necessarily small, but together they build up into a wintry City scene complete with streets, buildings and seasonal activity by the time the last door is opened. Right up to the final door, it stays a surprise which vehicle or figure turns up next.
