Description

Support for an older console generation

While many 2015 game releases already targeted newer consoles exclusively, LEGO Dimensions deliberately covered the Xbox 360 too, an established platform with a large existing install base. The Xbox 360 Starter Pack is physically identical to the versions built for newer consoles, only the technology inside the Toy Pad is matched to the older hardware. For households that had not yet upgraded, that meant access to exactly the same game content without needing to buy new hardware first.

The same build as the newer versions

The 268 pieces split the same way as every Starter Pack, into 3 minifigures, a vehicle and the multi-part Toy Pad, built from 94 different part types. Anyone familiar with a Starter Pack for a different console will find essentially the same building experience here, the only real difference being how the Toy Pad connects to the console itself. That distinction has no bearing on the parts list on this page, which applies regardless of which console version is actually on hand.

Minifigures that stand on their own

The 3 included minifigures work as ordinary minifigures independent of the console, and can be built and displayed without ever being connected to a Toy Pad. For collectors who do not own an Xbox 360 at all, that keeps a meaningful part of the set's value separate from the video game side entirely. Combined with the included vehicle in dark blue and light bluish grey, the result is a compact building set that still serves a purpose without the console it was designed for.
