Description

From the plains of Naboo

In The Phantom Menace, rows of AATs glide across the grassy plains of Naboo alongside battle droids, pushing back the Gungan army. The hover tank returns throughout The Clone Wars as a workhorse of the Separatist forces. Its low hull and large turret give it a shape that is easy to recognise even in simplified form. For collectors focused on the prequel era, it is one of the key ground vehicles on the droid side and a natural opponent for Republic models.

A varied little build

The set has 45 distinct elements across its 95 pieces, a high share for the first Microfighter wave. Rather than stacking identical parts, you shape the squat body from a wide range of plates, slopes and connectors. The build still finishes quickly and is well within reach of younger fans. The result is a compact vehicle with 1 minifigure that sits comfortably in a hand and takes up very little shelf space.

Sand tones versus Republic white

Tan heads the colour list, followed by dark bluish grey, black and light bluish grey. That sandy combination is typical of Trade Federation vehicles and sets the AAT apart from the white and grey Republic ships.
