The Falcon is Han Solo and Chewbacca's battered freighter, introduced in A New Hope as the ship that makes the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. It carries Luke and Obi-Wan off Tatooine, escapes the Death Star and later flies into the heart of the second Death Star at Endor. Returning in the sequel trilogy, it is one of the few ships that links almost every chapter of the saga together.
