Description

The fighter over Coruscant

Revenge of the Sith opens with a huge space battle above Coruscant, and ARC-170 fighters fly with the clone forces defending the capital. The same ship appears often in The Clone Wars animated series, flown by clone pilots against Separatist fleets. With its long split wings it looks like an ancestor of the X-wing, and many fans see it that way. It is a good choice if you want a Republic ship that is not a Jedi interceptor.
