Why black armour stands out

Shadow Troopers are an elite variant of the Empire's stormtroopers, dressed in black rather than the familiar white. They are not part of the best-known film scenes, which gives them a slightly mysterious reputation among collectors. On a shelf, a squad of them makes a strong contrast next to regular troopers. For many fans that is the main reason to pick up this set: a distinctive Imperial unit that looks quite different from everything else in the collection.
