A figure you build

Instead of a vehicle or a scene, this set gives you the character himself at a much larger scale than a minifigure. You assemble him from 186 pieces, starting with a jointed frame and adding armour as you go. The result can be posed and displayed, and it has a presence on a shelf that a minifigure could never match. There are no minifigures in the box, which makes sense for a set built entirely around one character.

Who Grievous is

General Grievous commands the droid armies of the Separatists during the Clone Wars. Part living being, part machine, he is known for hunting Jedi and keeping their lightsabers as trophies. He appears in Revenge of the Sith, where Obi-Wan Kenobi finally confronts him on Utapau, and he is a recurring enemy in The Clone Wars animated series. His skeletal armour and hunched, menacing frame make him instantly recognisable and a natural subject for a larger figure.
