Who they are

Death Troopers are an elite Imperial unit, instantly recognisable by their black armour. In Rogue One they serve as the personal guard of Director Orson Krennic, the officer overseeing the Death Star project, and later fight the Rebels on Scarif. Their look made them an instant favourite with fans, and they have returned in later stories such as The Mandalorian. A dedicated model of a single trooper captures that appeal without needing a ship or a base around it. It also works as a counterpart to the many white-armoured troopers already found in most Imperial collections, adding a darker accent to the line-up.

A figure rather than a minifigure

This set does not include a minifigure; the trooper itself is the model, built as a large figure from bricks.
