Description

A ship from Kashyyyk

Kashyyyk, the forest world of the Wookiees, is Chewbacca's home planet and a battleground during the Clone Wars, when its people fight off the Separatist droid army alongside the Republic. Wookiee craft have a look all of their own, broader and more organic than the sleek fighters of the Republic or the angular designs of the Empire. That makes this gunship stand out in a line-up of Microfighters that otherwise leans heavily on grey hulls.

An earthy parts list

Tan leads the parts list, followed by light bluish grey, dark bluish grey and reddish brown. It is an unusual mix for a Star Wars vehicle and much closer to wood, sand and stone than to metal. For builders, that is a practical bonus: tan and reddish brown pieces are ideal for landscapes, huts, jetties or tree houses. Once the gunship is taken apart, very little of it is limited to spaceship building.
