Since A New Hope, the Millennium Falcon has been the ship of Han Solo and Chewbacca, later passing into the hands of Rey and a new generation of heroes. Its saucer shape and offset cockpit are instantly recognisable, even to people who have hardly seen the films. The Microfighter version keeps both features while squashing the rest into a short, sturdy form that feels more like a toy than a scale replica. For a first Star Wars set, few subjects are more obvious.
