Description

Workshop and plane together

In the Sonic universe, Tails is known as a skilled inventor and pilot, and the set reflects both sides of that: a small workshop with tools and storage, plus his recognisable Tornado biplane. Together, the two sections use 172 unique parts, a relatively high count for a set this size, which adds up to plenty of small detail. Red, light bluish grey, black and dark blue dominate the colour scheme, echoing the Tornado's familiar paint job. Small tools and equipment scattered through the workshop round out the scene, so the building holds up as its own piece of detail even away from the plane. With two minifigures, the cast stays small but covers the scene's central relationship: Tails at his workshop alongside a second character from the Sonic universe.
