A familiar shape, a different era

The Y-wing is best known from the original trilogy, battered and grey, flying for the Rebels. This version comes from the animated series The Clone Wars, where Anakin Skywalker takes one into battle. The layout is the same, with a cockpit up front, an exposed frame and two long engine nacelles, but the finish is cleaner and far more colourful.
