Description

A camp, not a castle

Rather than another castle, this set recreates the infrastructure behind a siege: tents, campfires, tools and equipment for the besieging force spread out across the whole footprint of the build. That makes it a natural companion to existing castle or knight sets that have plenty of fortifications but no attacking camp to go with them, letting builders finally stage a complete siege scene with both sides represented. It turns a shelf full of fortresses into an actual conflict.

Colours of a field camp

Reddish brown covers wood and tent poles throughout the camp, black handles metal and gear, and green and white bring canvas and fabric into the scene for a slightly weathered, lived-in look. With 646 distinct parts, there's enough variety to give each little station in the camp its own character, from the firepit to the weapons store, without large areas feeling repetitive. This palette reads as noticeably rougher than a tidy, well-kept castle interior.
