Most micro Star Wars sets are fighters, freighters or shuttles. The Flash Speeder is something else: an open, low-flying patrol craft that the Naboo Royal Security Forces use in the city of Theed in The Phantom Menace. It appears while the Trade Federation occupies the planet, and it gives a glimpse of everyday Naboo beyond the palace and the starfighters. Because the speeder is less often built than the big ships of the prequel era, it adds some variety to a collection of small models.

Green, grey and flat silver

Green tops the colour list, followed by light bluish grey, dark bluish grey and flat silver. That is an unusual combination among small Star Wars sets, which lean heavily towards grey and black. Green parts are often in short supply in a collection built mainly from starships, and flat silver, with its metallic look, is not something you get in every box either. Both colours are useful later for scenery, vehicles and small accents in your own designs.
