Unlike the classic TIE Fighter, the Striker was designed mainly for flight inside a planet's atmosphere. Its wings fold forward at an angle and its cockpit is stretched into a longer body, giving it a sleeker, more aggressive look. In Rogue One these fighters guard the Imperial data vault on the tropical world of Scarif. When the Rebels launch their raid, the Strikers sweep low over the beaches to attack troops and ships alike.
