Description

An icon across the saga

The AT-AT is forever linked to the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, where the walkers lumber across the snow towards the Rebel base. Yet they return in later stories too, most notably on the beaches of Scarif in Rogue One. Few vehicles say Empire quite so clearly. Rather than picking out a single scene, this small model captures the walker's essential outline: the long, boxy body, the angular head and four sturdy legs.

A three-colour build

Only three main colours appear in the data: light bluish grey, dark bluish grey and transparent clear. That is unusually restrained, even for a small set, and it gives the model a tidy, uniform appearance that suits the Empire's utilitarian style. It also makes the parts easy to reuse, as grey is one of the most versatile colours you can have. Compared with the 52-piece mini AT-AT 912282 from 2022, this version leaves black off its colour list.

Repeat and assemble

The 51 pieces are made up of 21 different elements, so many parts are used several times, which is what you would expect from a vehicle with four matching legs. The build follows a steady, predictable pattern that suits beginners well. No minifigures are included.
