Not every Space release was a spaceship. The supplemental packs gave builders extra astronauts to populate their bases and fleets.

About Supplemental
Extra crew for the Space line
This sub-theme of Space groups together small add-on sets rather than a storyline of its own. Its 15 releases span 1979 to 1994, running alongside classic Space and many of the factions that followed. The earliest are two Space Mini-Figures packs from 1979, 0012-1 with 12 pieces and 0015-1 with 18 pieces.
The packs by size
None of the sets reaches 50 pieces. The largest is the 1991 Minifig Pack (6704-1) with 44 pieces, just ahead of the 1986 Minifig Pack (6702-1) with 43. Space Mini-Figures from 1988 (6703-1) has 42 pieces, and Space Explorers from 1994 (6705-1) has 40. From 1983 come the Minifig Pack 6701-1 with 36 pieces and Space Mini-Figs (6711-1) with 24. Because several packs share nearly identical names, the set number is the most reliable way to tell them apart.
Why they matter
For anyone rebuilding classic Space scenes, extra astronauts are often the missing ingredient. The parts lists on Bricoria show what each pack contains, and “What can I build?” tells you whether your own bricks already cover one.
