About Dragon Knights
Magic arrives in Castle
Earlier Castle ranges were about knights, outlaws and sieges. Dragon Knights shifted the focus to a wizard called Majisto and the dragons around him, which is why set names such as Majisto's Magical Workshop and Dark Dragon's Den sound more like a fairy tale than a history lesson. Most of the large models came out in 1993, with a handful of smaller releases following over the next few years.
From fortress to chariot
Fire Breathing Fortress (6082-1) is the flagship, with 406 pieces. Dark Dragon's Den (6076-1) has 219 and Majisto's Tower (1906-1), released in 1994, has 196. In the middle of the range sit Majisto's Magical Workshop (6048-1, 188 pieces), Dragon Defender (6043-1, 156) and Dragon Wagon (6056-1, 109). At the small end you will find Magic Shop (6020-1, 47 pieces) and Dragon Master Chariot (1794-1, 36 pieces).
