Winter Village, year by year

Follow the largest sets in order and you can watch the village grow. Winter Village Market (10235-1) opened the run in 2013 with 1,261 pieces. Santa's Workshop (10245-1) came in 2014 with 884, then Winter Toy Shop (10249-1) in 2015 with 898. The year 2016 brought Winter Holiday Train (10254-1, 735 pieces), 2017 added Winter Village Station (10259-1, 902 pieces), and 2018 finished the sequence here with Winter Village Fire Station (10263-1, 1,166 pieces). Each building works on its own, but together they make a street scene that fills a sideboard, complete with a market, a workshop, a toy shop, a station and a fire station.

Gingerbread, large and small

The biggest set in the sub-theme is Gingerbread House (10267-1) from 2019, at 1,477 pieces. The same year saw Mini Gingerbread House (40337-1), a much smaller take that still has 499 pieces. The remaining 28 sets have no more than 499 pieces each, so beyond the village buildings the sub-theme is mostly made up of compact festive models. It is among these smaller sets that the sub-theme reaches back as far as 2003.
