About Harry Potter
From the first film to today
The earliest sets recreated Hogwarts, the Hogwarts Express and key moments from Harry's first year. The theme went quiet for several years before a major relaunch in 2018, and it has had new releases every year since. Fantastic Beasts, set in the same wizarding world, sits beneath it as a sub-theme. Over time the range has spread from compact play sets to large display pieces aimed at adult fans.
Collectors' Editions and flagship models
Hogwarts Castle (71043-1) from 2018 is the largest set, a microscale model with 6,020 pieces. Diagon Alley (75978-1) followed in 2020 with 5,548 pieces, and the Hogwarts Express - Collectors' Edition (76405-1) in 2022 with 5,139. More recent Collectors' Editions include Gringotts Wizarding Bank (76417-1, 4,809 pieces), The Ministry of Magic (76476-1, 3,546 pieces) and Hogsmeade Village (76457-1, 3,228 pieces). Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition (76391-1, 3,010 pieces) and Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops (76444-1, 2,750 pieces) complete the list of the biggest builds. All eight of the largest sets date from 2018 or later, which shows how far the theme has moved towards big display builds since the relaunch.
