About Dino Island
An island of research vehicles
Where earlier Adventurers waves were about treasure, Dino Island was about studying the creatures themselves. Its set names tell the story: a research compound, a transport for a T-Rex, a trapper and a glider. The line leans heavily on vehicles, from off-road trucks and planes to small racers, which gives it a different feel from the temple-heavy Desert wave. Since everything appeared in a single year, the theme is a closed chapter with a clear beginning and end, and the research compound makes a natural centrepiece for a display with the vehicles gathered around it.

Dino Research Compound (5987-1) is the centrepiece at 624 pieces. T-Rex Transport (5975-1) follows with 329, then Island Hopper (5935-1) with 203 and All Terrain Trapper (5955-1) with 191.
