About Ultra Agents
A rogues' gallery
Ultra Agents sits under the Agents theme but has its own cast of villains, several of whom give their names to sets: AntiMatter, Toxikita and Infearno. Most sets pair a team of agents with one of these opponents, so each box works as a small self-contained showdown. The two headquarters provide bases for the heroes to operate from. Compared with the original Agents theme, the focus shifted from numbered missions to named opponents, which gives each set its own character.
Size and line-up
Ultra Agents Ocean HQ (70173-1) from 2015 is the largest at 1,204 pieces, just ahead of the 2014 Ultra Agents Mission HQ (70165-1) with 1,060. UltraCopter vs. AntiMatter (70170-1) has 614 pieces and Hurricane Heist (70164-1) 589. Agent Stealth Patrol (70169-1) and AntiMatter's Portal Hideout (70172-1) are almost identical in size at 475 and 474. Toxikita's Toxic Meltdown (70163-1) has 429 pieces and Infearno Interception (70162-1) 312.
