Schools could combine two boxes. The Mindstorms Education NXT Base Set supplied the NXT brick, motors, sensors and building elements; it appears as 9797-1 from 2006 with 442 pieces and as 9797-2 from 2013 with 491 pieces. The Education Resource Set [NXT Supplemental Set] (9648-1), also from 2006, is the largest entry at 674 pieces and adds extra elements for bigger builds. For replacements there is the 40-piece NXT Misc Parts Pack (5003219-1) from 2013.
