About Creator Expert

The idea behind the line

Where most Creator sets encourage rebuilding, Creator Expert asks for patience instead. Each set is a single, carefully engineered model meant to be finished and displayed. Famous buildings, fairground rides and vehicles made up much of the range, and the building techniques were aimed squarely at teenagers and adults. From 2022 onwards, comparable models have been sold under the Icons name. Most of the largest models date from between 2007 and 2020.

Two Taj Mahals and a stadium

The theme's two largest sets share a name. Taj Mahal (10189-1) appeared in 2008 with 5,922 pieces, and Taj Mahal (10256-1) followed in 2017 with 5,923. Just below them is the Old Trafford - Manchester United stadium (10272-1) from 2020, at 3,898 pieces, one of the few sports venues in the range. The stadium stands out because it swaps landmarks and rides for a football ground.

London, Paris and the funfair
