About Creator

What Creator is about

Creator started out as a home for mixed brick collections, sold in tubs, buckets and boxes with a few ideas to get you started. The focus was on imagination rather than a single finished model. Over time the theme branched out into more structured lines, such as Creator 3-in-1, where each set can be rebuilt into three different models, and Creator Expert, which brought large, detailed buildings and vehicles aimed at adult builders. Earlier experiments included Designer Sets, Inventor, X-Pod and Early Creator.

Tubs and buckets

The biggest entries on this page are brick collections rather than models. The XXL 2000 Canister (3598-1) from 2005 and Better Building More Fun (4425-1) from 2004 each contain 2,000 pieces. The Blue Tub (4919-1) has 1,500, the Large Creator Bucket (4405-1) from 2003 has 1,305 and the Blue Strata XXL (4411-1) has 1,201. Several more hold around 1,000 pieces, including CREATOR Strata Red {Red Tub} (4279-1), another Blue Tub (4278-1) and the Box of Bricks (4421-1).
