About Icons

A range built for display

Icons took over from Creator Expert in 2022 as the name for sets designed with adults in mind. The models are meant to be looked at as much as built: landmarks, ships, stadiums and film locations, often with thousands of pieces and a building process that stretches over many sessions. Sets from 2020 onwards are grouped here, including the Colosseum from that year.

Record-breakers and landmarks

The largest set in the theme is the Eiffel Tower (10307-1), released in 2022 with 10,001 pieces and standing around one and a half metres tall. The Titanic (10294-1) follows with 9,092 pieces, a model of the liner that runs well over a metre in length, and the Colosseum (10276-1) comes close with 9,036. Football fans get two stadiums: Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (10299-1, 5,876 pieces) and Camp Nou - FC Barcelona (10284-1, 5,509 pieces).

Middle-earth in bricks

Tolkien's world has become a strong strand of the theme. Lord of the Rings: Rivendell (10316-1) arrived in 2023 with 6,181 pieces, The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr (10333-1) followed in 2024 with 5,478, and The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith (11377-1) is listed for 2026 with 8,278 pieces, which makes it the fourth-largest set here.
