Description

A spacecraft everyone recognises

NASA's Space Shuttle flew for three decades and became the image of human spaceflight for a whole generation. Its shape is instantly readable: a stubby fuselage, broad delta wings and a large payload bay along the back. That makes it a natural subject for a brick model at this size. With 1,204 pieces the set has enough substance to capture the outline convincingly while staying manageable for one or two evenings of building. It suits both space enthusiasts and general collectors.

Variety over repetition

The catalogue lists 239 distinct elements, so each one appears only about five times on average. That is a relatively varied mix for a set of this size and means the build keeps introducing new shapes rather than repeating long sequences. Main colours are white, black, reddish brown and light bluish grey. White and black match the real orbiter, which had a pale body and dark heat-shield tiles underneath. Reddish brown is a more surprising entry and worth a look in the parts list below.

Figures for scale and story

The 3 minifigures give the shuttle a human scale and make it easy to stage a launch or a mission scene on a shelf.
