Description

A building that opens up

The salon is built around a hinged front wall, so the whole interior is easy to reach once the model is finished. Downstairs holds a wash basin with shower head and a styling chair, while the upper floor adds a narrow balcony with flower boxes. White and pale grey form the main structure, with yellow panels and a handful of black accents on windows, furniture and small fittings. At 341 pieces the model stays compact enough to finish in one sitting, which makes it a manageable project rather than a weekend-long build.

Two minifigures ready to work

The set includes a hairdresser and a customer minifigure, plus small accessories such as a comb, a hair dryer and a mirror, so the salon scene is complete without extra building steps. The back of the building stays open, which keeps both figures easy to pose and move around during play. For children who enjoy acting out everyday scenes, that open layout adds more play value than a display-only model, and the footprint lines up well with other Heartlake City sets from the same wave.

158 different elements packed in

The part count of 158 unique elements is high relative to the 341 total pieces, which means many shapes appear only once or twice across the model. Tiles, plates and small specialty pieces mix with standard bricks throughout, and details such as the shower head, mirror and styling tools only show up in this set. That variety makes the build a good step up for younger builders working on spotting and placing less familiar pieces, without pushing the overall model into advanced territory.

Fits into a wider Heartlake City

Heartlake Hair Salon works both as a stand-alone build and as an addition to a larger Heartlake City collection, since the scale matches other buildings from the same period. Owners of other Friends sets can mix furniture and minifigures to build out their own street scenes and storylines. The full parts list on this page lists every element by colour and quantity, useful for checking which colours dominate the set or for sourcing a single missing piece.
