Flying instead of driving

Unlike most LEGO Friends sets, this model builds no vehicle at all, instead lifting the minifigures literally above the landscape of Heartlake City in a hot air balloon. The basket holds two figures, while the inflated envelope, built from curved elements, recreates the balloon's characteristic rounded shape. That approach sets the set clearly apart from the usual cars, boats or cafés in the line and brings a genuinely different perspective to the Friends world, literally from above rather than from street level.
