Description
A hand-cranked wash function
Turning the crank at the side of the model drives the brush assembly, so a car pushed through the wash comes out visibly cleaner at the other end. It's a mechanical function rather than a motorised one, which keeps the building instructions approachable and gives younger builders a satisfying, hands-on action to operate once the model is finished. White and light bluish grey dominate the wash bay itself, giving it the clean look of a modern forecourt, while black picks out the frame, wheels and mechanical parts. Dark azure blue stands in for water and suds across hoses, the roof and several smaller accents around the brush tunnel.
Two figures, one storyline
The set includes two minifigures, a wash attendant and a customer, which is enough to stage the entire scene from drive-in to finished, sparkling car. The vehicle itself is sized to fit neatly through the brush tunnel, keeping the play pattern focused on one clear action rather than spreading it across several loosely connected functions. Small accessories such as a hose and a bucket give both figures something to do around the wash bay, and the compact footprint means the whole scene works well alongside other Heartlake City buildings on a shelf or play mat.
Parts worth keeping
At 325 pieces across 167 unique parts, this sits firmly in LEGO® Friends' mid-size range and suits a single sitting or two without demanding much prior building experience. Many of the tiles, plates and pastel-toned elements used here also work well in other Heartlake City builds, from garages to small workshops, since the colour palette is shared across much of the theme. The full parts list on this page breaks down every element and its colour, which is useful for tracking down a specific brick, tile or specialty piece for a separate project, or simply for checking what's inside before buying it second-hand.
