Description

Speed over armour

The A-wing trades protection for pace. Its wedge-shaped hull and twin engines make it an interceptor built to reach a target quickly, strike and get away. That clean, angular outline suits a brick model, although getting the slopes right takes some care. The Battle of Endor

In Return of the Jedi, A-wings fly alongside X-wings, Y-wings and B-wings in the assault on the second Death Star.
