Droidekas first appear in The Phantom Menace, where their shields force Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi to retreat. They return on the Separatist side during the Clone Wars, fighting the Republic's clone army in Attack of the Clones and throughout The Clone Wars animated series. Their trick of curling into a wheel and rolling at speed makes them instantly recognisable. This set focuses on that simple, satisfying match-up: disciplined clones against heavily armed destroyer droids.
