Description

The Rebellion's fastest ship

The A-wing trades armour and firepower for raw speed. It is smaller than the X-wing and Y-wing, and its flat wedge profile with two big engines at the back is unmistakable. On screen it is best remembered from the space battle over Endor, where Rebel pilots dart between Imperial ships. For a model of this size, getting that silhouette right matters more than anything, and the set concentrates its pieces on the angled hull and engines.

A lot of variety for its size

There are 83 unique parts among the 177 pieces, which is a high ratio for a small set. In practice that means little repetition: slopes, wedge plates, clips and small details follow one another rather than the same brick again and again. The build is still short, but it asks a bit more attention than a basic kit, making it a sensible step up for younger builders who already follow instructions confidently.

Crew and play
