Tow cables and walkers

In The Empire Strikes Back, the Rebel snowspeeders are the only defence against the Imperial AT-AT walkers advancing on Echo Base. Their blasters cannot pierce the walkers' armour, so Luke Skywalker's squadron resorts to harpoons and tow cables, wrapping them around the walkers' legs until the giants topple. It is one of the defining sequences of the original trilogy, and the wedge-shaped two-seat speeder has been associated with it ever since. Even at this small scale, its low, angular profile is easy to recognise. Few ships in the saga are so closely tied to a single battle.

Ship, planet and minifigure
