A scene in miniature

Set 75011 comes from a series that matched a small-scale ship with the planet it is most associated with. Both models are compact, so the whole scene fits into 102 pieces, and a single minifigure completes it. The opening chase

The Tantive IV is a Corellian corvette carrying Princess Leia when Darth Vader's Star Destroyer captures it above Tatooine. Before she is taken prisoner, Leia hides the stolen Death Star plans inside R2-D2, setting the whole story in motion. Alderaan's fate is far grimmer: the Death Star destroys it to demonstrate its power while Leia is forced to watch. Pairing the ship with the planet links the first minutes of the film to one of its most shocking scenes.
