The AT-AP walks on two and lowers a third leg to brace itself when firing its heavy cannon, which gives it one of the more unusual silhouettes of the saga. It makes a brief appearance in Revenge of the Sith and is a much more common sight in The Clone Wars animated series, where it supports clone troopers in ground battles. Its boxy cabin and long gun make it instantly recognisable.
